Programming a sequence to a submaster for timed haze.

Can a submaster on the Ion contain more than 1 cue? I'd like to program a timer sequence to automatically turn a hazer on and off. Can a sub hold a sequence?

As an alternative, I programmed an effect which worked for what I wanted, but I'd also like to make a momentary which I can use to haze on the fly if need be. With the Effect running on a sub, running the sub which has my hazer at full has no influence. I this a precedence/priority issue? With the effect running, the hazer at full sub has no influence on output. Thanks.

it's quite simplee, there is just a confusion of terminology.
a sub is a memory, it is not a physical handle. the handle is called fader. so: no, a sub can't be a cuelist, but yes, a fader can be a cuelist.
regarding your override: do you use your hazers with dimmer or with with another parameter?

Change the look, record Fader X again? Or do I tap the faders bump button to store cues to it?

As for the override issue, the hazer is a 1 channel DMX hazer patched as a normally off non-dim.

[Record][Cue][Load] (on a faderwing you press both buttons simultaneously for the Load function).

i don't see your issue with the sub. what software version are you on? and if 2.4 or later: do the cuelist and the sub have the same priority?

That worked for loading cues onto a fader. Cue 501 is my haze on and 502, my haze off. I have a follow time of 30s on each cue and cue 502 is linked back to 501.
When I load and GO this sequence on the main cross fader, it works as it should. But on a regular fader, the link works, but the follow doesn't. I have to manually GO on each cue.
Can follow times be used on fader Wing faders?

yes, follow times work on a wing as well. you can do everything on a wing's fader that you do on the master fader playback.

how did you load the cuelist that you created on the wing's fader to the main playback to test there?

Did you move the slider to the top after loading the cue to the fader? It behaves the same way as the master fader pair: If the slider is down, the console is waiting for you to move it or hit go.
