ETC Element not playing back cues

I was programming cues last night and saved then turned off the board.  When I came back on this morning, most of my cues had duration times of 5 seconds and I can't play them back.

Thanks for the help

  • If the Element has a main pair of faders above the Go/Stop buttons, make sure those are at the top position. Cues will run in that position. at the bottom of the fader position, the cue is pending, waiting for a manual move (therefore time) of the faders.

There may be a default manual cue time set to 5, and that may be overriding whatever cue times you recorded.

Re-load your show file from last night, and see if the times are correct in the latest version. If not, re-load the previous version, and see if the times are still corrupt. If they are, I would bet it's the first issue above, and not a bad recording.

(I have an Ion, so somethings described may be different on the element.)
