Element submasters configuration

On Element do you have Tab 36 Fader Config?

If so open this and change the Fader from x1 to x2, you can then configure the second fader as Effect Rate.

Effects on sub have been greatly improved in 2.6 but this isn't reflected in the supplement or the 2.6 video.

You can now use the Bump Button to Flash the content up, like a normal sub, you can also have non effect data stored in the sub as well.

no fader config on element. the workaround would be to set the sub to effect sub and have it control rate ad then add another sub with the same channels and make it inhib

Ueli is correct, you cannot make a 2x or 3x Fader handle on Element.  You can edit the Properties of your Sub Live by typing Sub nnn on the Command Line, then Softkey 5 [S5] "Properties":

You can set the Sub Inhibitive there.

You can also make edits in the Sub list you see when you press [Sub][Sub]. (Make sure your CIA is open)

I already knew about copy the effect twice and set up one as effect and the other as inhibit.
It´s the trick but it isn´t the way...
I think because hardware limitations is not posible see in future updates something similar to TAB 36.
I´m very happy with it, I like the pilicy of updating of ETC.
