Sticking GO button on new Ion XE.. any advice?

Our new Ion XE is apparently double firing cues with the GO button .. the SM and board op report that it "sticks"...

can I pull the key off and clean it out .. are there setting that will alter the response sensitivity of the GO button... I have to send it back in after the show anyway ... but I need to get through the next 10 days with out double firing...

any advice out there?

You could plug in an external keyboard and enable "Spacebar GO" to get you through the show.

I assume that the ION XP also has a facepanel test under maintenance in the shell to confirm that it is a hardware problem with the key.

You should ring tech service and they’ll talk you through what to check and hopefully fix it.

It’s a new console so it under warranty so best not to start poking, from experience it will be a simple mechanical fix.

Also check the logfiles. Not trying to blame anybody but check if the two Go's really were that close or if someone tries to blame the console... Unfortunately speaking from experience...
