Scroller Calibration on ION, latest soft. New to ION console

I have the Chroma Q scrollers. Anyone know how to calibrate scrollers in ION?

I Press 'Color' and on LCD - Encoder Page - appear and under wheel 'scroller' label.  I do not know what do next, only option what I have is HOME, NEXT, LAST. If I use the wheel that only changes colours on scroller but not gives me the option to calibrate them, if I press wheel I get the same HOME, NEXT, LASTand the wheel only changes colours. What I'm doing wrong.

Please, can someone help me and explain how I can calibrate my scrollers.

  • you need to keep Shift pressed while moving the encoder, this allows you to move the colors slowly. when the color looks correct you press the encoder and then there is a softkey Calibrate
  • Thank You.

I calibrate all of my scrollers apart from one. I can not calibrate because scroller moves the gel only few centimetres and I don't have a option to center the wright color under correct color name. is like the scroller see only length of three color from nine.

can I copy settings from other scrollers to this one
  • this could also be a hardware problem. if you type Chan x Scroller // 0 Enter does it go t the first color? and if you type Chan x Scroller // 255 Enter does it go to the last color?

if your trying to calibrate but you don't have the correct color name anymore there is a trick: you can calibrate in smaller steps. so you move with shift the color until the display changes. then you move back a little bit until you have the correct name again and Calibrate. no you can move it a bit more, Calibrate. you can repeat this until the color is centered.
so just take smaller color steps when calibrating
