Eos adding an effect to channels when no effect is programmed into the cue

Hi,

I'm running an Eos with 2.6.1 software. I've been running a show for three weeks now and a couple days ago the console started sporadically adding an effect to my quantums in two cues where there are no effects recorded into the cue at all. It happens at the same point in the show every time, but it doesn't happen every time I run the show. I read the bug fix notes for 2.6.2 but this doesn't seem to be a known issue. Any ideas? Thanks.

effect as in an effect in the console or from a macro channel in the light? when it happens, do you see it on stage, on screen or both? when it happens did you have time to check About, Current Values to see what the console thinks the source is?

An effect as in an effect in the console. It happens on stage and on the screen. I haven't had time to check About when it has happened during the show and I can't currently recreate it.

do you remember which color the effect data was written on the life screen? do you remember date and time when it happened to help with looking at the log files?

I don't remember the color the effect was, but I do know the date and have a good idea as to the time for the sake of looking at the log files.

you could pull the logfiles and post them here along with the showfile or send them to eos (at) etccconnect dot com and mention this thread.

ah, and mention which channel(s) and cues
