Cuelist non-intensity parameter master / update last recorded cue

Dear all

I have three questions regarding my ION running on EOS 2.7. EOS 2.6.4 (corrected)

1) In the current show, I have a secondary cue list for all fog cues which is executed from the main list. The seconday cue list is on a fader on the fader wing. I would like to have the fader as a master, which also affect the non-intensity parameters, like the fog parameter. So when the fader is down, no fog value should be sent. What settings do I need to have on the cue list and on the fader to achieve that?

2) Did the procedere changed for loading a cue list on a fader? In previous version I could just type Cue 2/ and push both buttons below the fader on the ION Fader wing to load that cuelist to the faders. I didn't work in EOS 2.7. EOS 2.6.4 (corrected) anymore.

3) I noticed, when I go to a cue, change some channels, record a new cue and use update after that, that the update target is the old cue and not the newly recorded one. On my EOS offline version on my computer, I don't observe this behaviour. Is there a setting which specifies, that the console should automatically go to the newly recorded cue so that update will do the changes in the new cue? I am working in live in this scenario.

Thank you very much for your help.

Best,

Marco

Version is 2.6.4 not 2.7.

  • 1) i don't think you can. you would need an Inhibit Sub for that, so that's a separate fader. inhibits by default only have intens parameters in there. your parameters are FCB, only put them in there *after* you changed the sub mode to Inhib.

    2) is the fader you're trying this with empty? if not: Shift + both buttons to clear it, then Cuue 2/ + both buttons. is this a Universal Fader Wing? if it's motorized it has 3 buttons per fader and loading happens with the single button above the fader rather than pressing both buttons below the fader.

    3) check if in setup > desk > Record Settings > Auto Playback is enabled. if it is not, recording a new cue will not push playback into that new cue, thus the console doesn't know you want to update the newly recorded cue because it's not active.
