etc element copy a cue / magic sheets

Hi, I am learning how to program an element desk . I worked out how to do a magic sheet ,

first question , How do you copy a cue ?  Say cue 34 and insert it as cue 36 because a show is just 3 scenes and it goes back and forth !

second question , when I lighting a scene using magic sheets , I click onto the lantern set the level intense , then when i am happy with the scene i record cue 1 , then it prompts me to select lanterns . so i have to re select all the lanterns i used . and re set levels again what i am doing wrong seems a long way doing it

 thank you ginger

  • Replying to second point as I think what you were actually getting at has not been answered.

Even if not using a magic sheet if I do Chan 1+2+4 @ 50 enter and it sets the lights to 50% then when I press Record if deselects the channels - I think that is what you are concerned about.

It does that deliberately as Record with then correctly record the cue, you dont need to have channels selected for Record to work.

You can (but rarely want to) manually select channels to do a selective record but the desk assumes you don't want to do that unless you actively select then before pressing record.

    From the manual:

[Record] <Cue> [5] [Enter] - records all parameters of any channels with non-default data into the specified cue number 5.

[1][Thru][5][Record]<Cue>[4][Enter]-this records only channels 1 through 5 into cue 4.
