Patching RDM using Ion

Hi all

I'm trying to patch a Lustr D60 XTI with my Ion.

I have updated it to the latest firmware (2.6.4) so as far as my understanding goes, plugging in the 5 pin universe 2 should be RDM enabled (I have ticked RDM enabled in the shell)

When I go to patch, I make sure to go to 'Device list' > Rdm > Device discovery > enabled

But nothing shows up. The back of this fixture doesn't have a screen so I can't even address the thing with RDM.

The RDM in yellow at the top of the Patch tab (tab 12 patch (RDM)) has 2 rectangular boxes that are empty. I feel like they should be ticked or green?

Can anyone help? I feel like I'm banging my head against a brick wall.

Two things:
What is the connection from the DMX port of the ion to the fixture? Any dmx splitters?
And what version of the ion do you have? Is there a VGA connector at the back, are there two network connectors, are there 4 DMX ports? Depending on hardware you might need to make a firmware update for your console's DMX ports.

No splitters it's 5 pin DMX to cat5.

Not sure which version it is. it's running 2.6 which I thought would include the firmware update. Is there a separate one? Only one cat5 network I can see, one VGA, a handful of USBs, and two DVI connectors at the back. Does this help?

Keep Tab pressed, type 99 and release Tab. This opens diagnostic tab. On the bottom right hand side (maybe you have to scroll down) there should be a list of currently loaded firmware versions. What number is listed for the I/O card?
