Fixture Request, Color Force II 48 (1,2,4,8,12 Cell mode)

Hi

Q1.  I am requesting a Fixture library

* Chrnma-Q’s ColorForce II 48 (1,2,4,8,16 Cell) model

The ColorForce II 72 has a library(by cell) but there are no ColorForce II 48 model

I need a permanent library.
Showline’s SL BAR has libraries for all cell modes.
I tried to use copy to ColorForce II 72 , but I can not modify the library
It can not be edited by copying to the desired cell mode.

I attached the required DMX chart.
We hope this equipment will be permanently added to the next library.

Q2.  It is also a problem that copying and modifying libraries in 2.7.0 does not work smoothly.

When modifying or deleting a parameter's DMX number, it is not as simple as the previous version.

In 10ch Library, Numbers are not input when trying to exchange DMX 5 and DMX 6

Deleting a parameter does not clear it from the list.

To modify the middle parameters, the DMX value will not be entered unless all subsequent parameters are deleted.

Please let me know if there's a simple way to fix it.

please answer about my question.

Thanks for your help

  • Hello, JJ:

For Question #1: We have the ColorForce II 48 in the fixture library with Multicell Modes. This will require you being updated to the latest fixture library patch version for v2.7.0 in order to access.

Question #2: In v2.7.0 you should no longer need to copy a fixture to edit it in most cases. I was able to delete a parameter and have it clear from the list. Which parameter in which fixture were you trying to remove? I agree there appears to be some issue with re-numbering. I will continue to investigate this and get it reported as a bug so it can be fixed in a future release.

    Thank you,
  • Hi

    Thank you for answer

You say you have a library, but I can not find it.

I have installed version 2.7. ColorforceII 72 is included, but not ColorforceII 48.

We hope to be able to control cells by groups of 1, 2, 4, 8, 16.

colorforceII 72 has a cell library, but no all grouping.

    I need a fixture-like library below.

    Q2.

How can I modify the Colorforce II 72 (6cell) to 8Cell?

Is there a way to modify the cell count?

And I deleted four parameters of MC.(Strobe R,G,B,A)

However, when patching, the address is not input consecutively but the number is skipped. (please checking the Photo)

    ↓ Defalt

    ↓ Edit

I may not be looking for it properly.

    Please help me again

    Thank you

  • Hello!

That image shows library version .68.
The latest is .76, which contains the profile.
This link will take you to the latest library: www.etcconnect.com/.../Software.aspx

As for editing the number of cells, you cannot do this yet- but we are working on improving cells and the fixture editor. What you can do is patch any profile as a cell- so you could kind of hobble it together in that sense by patching channel 2/2 as whatever type you need (it looks like Generic RGBA 8b) to get the number of cells needed.

    Thank you,
  • Cant you just use normal groups and put the cells you want into them just as you'd do with channels now that we've got the abiltity to refer to cells as if they were channels?
  • I checked the library on .76. Thank you~!
And .. I know that it is possible to patch one MC and the desired number of cells (RGBA -4ch).
However, if I enter the address of a channel, the address are not calculated in order, It was sometimes mixed up.

The update certainly provides us with a more comfortable operating system.
However, I could not making the Lamp Control parameter when creating a new library.
It was created normally in 2.6.4, but not in 2.7.

I am downgrade the SW every time I modify or create a library.
I hope that these points are complemented.

    Thank you,

    JJ
