I am currently trying to teach myself Element using the offline editor.
I am having a very hard time understanding why the timings don't seem to be working on my cue list.
Here's what I have.
I chose the appropriate channels in cmd line for all the house lights according to the plot.
I then Recorded them as Group 1 and labeled them "House"
Next, Group 1 @ Full - All the house lights came on at full.
I recorded this as Cue 1.
Now I type, Group 1 at 0 and all the house lights go off.
I record this as Cue 2. and label it "House Out"
I want the show to start with the house lights at full and then when I hit the GO button, I need them to fade out completely in a duration of 24 seconds.
There is a speech that starts the fade out and the house needs to be in sync with it. So when the speech is done, the house lights are out.
So I go CUE 1 TIME 5 TIME 24 ENTER
I can see in the CUE list that it changed the Int Up to 5 and the Int Down to 24. I assume that this is what I want.
I go into LIVE and press GOTO CUE 1 Enter and the House fades up to full in 5 seconds.
However, when I hit the GO button, the house fades down to blackout in 5 seconds and not the Int Down time of 24 seconds.
Am I not understanding how Int Up and Down work.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
