I've updated my Ion Xe20 to software version 2.7.3. The desk is now telling me that I need to update the Standard fader wing software from 1.0.1.9.0.11 to 1.0.3.9.0.13. The trouble is I can't find the software on the website. Can anyone direct me?

Thanks for bringing this one back up. Yes, if you have an Ion XE 20 or Standard Fader Wing (or Element 2), there is new firmware that fixes an additional race condition that would cause the faders and buttons to become unresponsive. That new firmware is available as part of Eos Family v2.7.3 and is definitely recommended for all users.
Ok so it's not a seperate download. It's included in the latest firmware but just look for EOS Fader Wing (prob .exe?) to do the update? Do/does the wing(s) have to be connected or is this something that lives on the motherboard and talks to any wing(s) connected?
firmware updated happen from Eos or Nomad shell. go to settings, Maintenance. at the bottom there is a box listing components and there firmware. it will onyl detect stuff that is connected. click the component you want to update and then click Update.
an eos faderwing is technically speaking multiple fader wings in one box. so you have to do this update more than once. it is imperative to reboot the console and the wing after each segment.
Thanks Mike - sorted!
