Feature Request: Hybrid LED Dynamic Adjustable Color Temp using multiple addresses

Hello,

Do you perhaps mean like a 16b CCT parameter?  That can be done using the current fixture editor and would result in one parameter for two addresses controlling coarse and fine.

The other option is CW and WW for the control, in which case we have generic fixtures that would fit the bill.

Am I understanding the request?

the request is to have a virtual CCT parameter that can control the native cW and wW. CCT at Min would have wW at max and cW at Min. when increasing the value on the CCT parameter cW increases and wW decreases until you reach the Max of CCT and cW is at Max and wW is at Min.

Exactly right.  It isn't that I can't mix cWwW it's that the Boss is used to "3000" on their panels which are just a some point between.  It would also allow us to roll up or down with out trying to feather two encoders, which also isn't possible on Nomad as far as I know.

I patch all my hybrid LED with a custom profile. Home is warm at 255 and cool at 0.

If you want to "roll up or down with out trying to feather two encoders", all you have to do is patch it as stated above and then record a submaster in which warm is 0% and cool is 100%, then map it to a fader.

On a side note, I'd be interested to know your real name; I probably know you at least by reputation even if we haven't worked together or met at an event.

I like that solution, though you are saying you do that with 30-100 different hybrid LEDs?  A fader for every one?

No, I use color palettes. I was just trying to offer suggestions.

Also, you only really need one fader. You can use a macro to re-record your submasters, something like:

Delete Sub 1 Enter Enter

[Select Last] {Color} Record Sub 1 [Enter]
