Black out including NIP's

Hi,

I just started working with the EOS Software and have the question, how ot get a black out like this:

Cue 1: LED Fixture @100 with color red.

Cue 2: LED @0 -> this it the black out, intens at 0, color at red

Cue 3: LED @100 with color lime.

Now I have the problem, in cue three there will be a colour fade from red to lime, because the NIP in Cue 2 are still at "red". But i want just a fade in in the new color, here lime.

Is there any function to reset the NIP to 0 in the blackout cue?

many thanks for your help!

  • I can tell you what I would do. . . and that I even made a Macro to do it automatically.

    I'd make a Q2-Part20 with a delay time 5 (So that Part 20 executes after Q2 {Now, Q2-Part 1} finishes.) and then Mark the colour change of Q3 in the Q2-Part 20.

  • i just don't understand why people don't just use automark which does everything this situation needs automatically. no need for a macro, no need for parts. simply activate the setting and enjoy.

of course there is a place for referenced marking but my advice would be to let users familiarize themselves with the software in general first and then get creative and fully configurable later
