Cant record effect into preset.

Hello,

Starting in v2.8 there is a now a softkey that allows you to include effects.  If this softkey is not used, the effect is not recorded.

Why is it via a softkey now?

If i imagine right, in later versions you could just record it.

Are there any good methodes i'm not figuring out by doing it with a softkey?

Users didn't like that effects by default were recorded into a preset.

The more common scenario when using presets is that you don't want the effect included, as such a soft-key was required to opt into effects being recorded. Best of both world with the default being the most common practice.
