Magic Sheet as scene B preset then execute?

I'm a new magic sheet user on my Element. After my first use, I began to wonder if I was using them properly. Here was my basic flow controlling several channels, some groups and a submaster using only fixed instruments:

  1. Select an object or set of objects
  2. Key or wheel a new intensity
  3. Sneak the change

That worked pretty well when busking an event, but I then wondered if I could make it function more like a scene preset -- adjusting objects to various levels then sneaking the whole setup like a scene or cue cross-fade. Is that possible??

I realize I could try to use intensity palettes, but I don't have time to plan those in advance. I'd rather sense the mood of an upcoming song, make adjustments, then execute.

Thanks!

  • I think your looking for a function that not available right now (there are some workarounds in this thread). But I think it's something that's ETC is planning for a future software update: if you go to a new special Live mode you can queue up manual changes. They will not happen on stage, they are just pre-registered. Only when you leave this special mode, all those different changes happen at the same time.
