Eos classic Monitor config

Eos classic console

The monitor configuration is not allowing me to enable my external monitor F/ the console thinks this screen is C the encoder screen,

i sent my board out for repairs and put in a spare board, tried to configure my monitors the way they were and one of my external thinks its the encoder screen, when it should be F, when i go to the monitor config screen it shows F away from the other four screens in grey(disabled). When i try to enable it, click the box and apply.... hit the keep changes buttons but it reverts back to disabled.

Hi, i believe I might know how to fix this from what you were saying. In the monitor config screen you get the tickable boxes “primary” and one other (can’t remember it off the top of my head).

Above these boxes you should see a 9x9 grid. The box that is yellow is your primary screen (I believe). Then your other one should be grey, that is your secondary screen. If you drag the grey box to how your monitors are positioned so they corespondent.

HI Will, Thank you for the response, this was the first thing i tried. Unfortunately, I believe this is a graphic card issue according to etc support, sending my board out for repair.

Our EOS Classic is doing exactly this now.

We received the replacement power supply for the 2nd ELO Monitor on our EOS Classic so I hooked it back up and enabled it in the shell and tried to configure it in Monitor Config but now one of my external thinks its the encoder screen C, when it should be E.

It worked fine in the past but not now.

So, is this now a this is a graphic card issue requiring my sending my board out for repair? Which will be costly as we live on an island on the edge of the continent.

I’m posting an update as it is fixed now, in case someone else has the same issue.

So I tried this again a few weeks ago. I tried again setting the second external monitor to ’E’ in the shell and enabling it but it failed again.

Just to see what would happen, I tried setting it to the only other option shown which was ‘F’ and that worked. All Monitors are working properly now.
