Martin QFX150 Personality Problem

I have had a chance to look at this more closely and have patched the unit at channel level to have greater control. In the manual the stepped scroll colours seem to be in reversed order, and the lamp off command seems to need to be applied for 5 seconds for it to work which I cannot find documented in the manual

I too have noticed the QFX150 personality's inability to lamp off the units. Because this show went on the road back in December, I'm not completely up to date on software, but i'd like to know the update on this matter, if it's been solved, etc.

I don't have my units to hand until next week. The last time we used them there still seemed to be some degree of not turning off.  Its on the list for checking as soon as we get to them

I used 4 qfx150 's with a startdrop just recently here at BAM and did not have any problems lamping on or off the units.  I only gave the on/off command when all intensities and all attributes were out or homed.  I did notice the colors were not properly labled on the color page of the encoders.  This was minor to me and my show.  I am runnng 1.4.5.  Your problems above may be due to older software?? but i dunno...

We have a couple of fairly standard macros to turn ours on and off. Starting up seems to be ok but lamping off is erratic. I have noticed that id the unit is at zero intensity it will not work. If I set the unit to full and run the macro I can see the shutdown happen, the process is that the unit fades itself out and then turns off. Sometimes we just have to cycle power ti kill the lamp and then keep the fan running for a few minutes.

What build are you on and did you do an Update Lib on the fixture or just pull an old file forward?  Also, when you say Macro is that the Lamp Command or an actual Macro you created?  I will be looking into this in a little bit.

Hello John,

I am running 1.4.5 and we did do the update lib on the fixture. The macro is one the we wrote which basically selects the channels then goes to lamp controls and turns them on/off.
