Part of cyc missing in Mind The Gap viz in new EOS Family Learning Series

I am sorry that you are experiencing this problem.  We are looking in to the problem and will try to find an answer for you.

I have it running fine on my dell without a dongle. That is also how we run all the classes (without a dongle).

Please double check your patch for me.  Did you load the Patch only show file or one of the other show files? 

The Cyc is patched into universe 8. Cyc Top is Channels 301 - 312, if not multi-cell, Color Force II 72 RGBA x 4 Off, starting address 8/1.

If multi-cell, Color Force II 72 RGBA x 4 Off MC, still starting address 8/1. 

I have checked the patch and it all looks good to me.

We stared with a blank file from the start of the tutorials but even loading the show files nothing from 301 > is working? we also don't have the ground row.

Hi, I'd loaded the level 4 complete show file, but I've also tried again with level 1 complete and patch only. Channel 301 responds in the visualizer, but 302-312 & 351-362 don't. The patch is complete. 351-362 are patched at 9/1 onward. Units are patched as Color Force II 72 RGBA x 4 Off MC. Hardware is a Dell Optiplex 755 with dual monitors and 8Gb of RAM.

FWIW the back wall grid from 701-884 and MTG letters 901-927 work in the patch only file.

Apologies if this has already been tried, but this has worked for me when connecting Capture with Nomad.

With the one of the training showfiles loaded, you’ll notice in Patch that the channels are talking to DMX, sACN, and ArtNet. There has always been an issue (for me) when sACN and ArtNet where on at the same time. 

When I started the training I noticed that a side light was stuck at full without control. I instantly knew there was that issue in patch. Sure enough i found all three (sACN,DMX,ArtNet) were on. So while in patch, I selected Ch1 Thru 362 changed it to ArtNet only. Within a second the sidelight went out and everything worked as is should. If ArtNet doesn’t work, try sACN.

the training showfile isn't patched with DMX, sACN, ArtNet. it's patched with Default. so if your nomad/eos settings in the shell have e.g. ArtNet and sACN set to default, then you will get multiple protocols output, but it's rather because of your settings than because of the showfile.

Good thought, but I don't think that is it. ArtNet wasn't enabled. Capture seems to be seeing the data according to Window > Universes. Tried turning off DMX for 301-312 but that didn't make any difference.
