You would think this would be a thing since high end is an etc company and the hog 4 systems have this feature

What I mean is password lock the face panel so no edits can be made

There is a feature request for this: Will there be an option to set a password for each user?

For what do you need it?
You can`t override an existing Showfile
So the files are protect
