Display Master Playback Status and snapshots

Updating a snapshot with the only change being clicking on the Display Master Playback Status in the gear menus of the PSD results in the next time the snapshot is played there is a space for the display but nothing shows. Hitting the snapshot multiple times doesn't help. Version 2.9.1 on Windows 7 Ion Classic and also Mac nomad.

    Additional info; This is also happening in Beta 3.0.266. When you update a snapshot with the Display Master Playback Status checked and playback the snapshot without going to another snapshot first the display isn't painted, but if you switch to a different snapshot and back to the first it does show up. Also, if the PSD is in a visible workspace when the snapshot is updated it displays correctly in that tab. It is with PSDs in other workspaces that this problem occurs.
