Hi All,
Not found anything in partial show search. I'm trying to merge 1 or more fixtures but NOT ALL from another show. How can I select one or more items since there are no Numbers in Fixtures list of a show?
Thanks for helping and stay safe.

You go in to "Advanced" next to select all, OK and Cancel to the left on the screen. There you can say what to merge, what ranges and so on.
rry not seen your reply earlier… Notifications not working well to me...
But, I'm talking about some fixtures, not all, and in Advanced tab, I don't see how to specify which ones, like for any other item ! Fixtures have no Numbers to refer to.
you merge patched fixtures. In advanced you select fixtures, then start channel number and end channel number, and then new target channel number if you want a new starting number.

I just want to get in Fixtures not Channels ! My preferred / customized libraries are stored in an Eos show. From which I need to grab some, show by show which will be patched at different channels.
But I agree that there is no other way that you mentionned. Thx.
Ahh. You want to import a custom template!
That you do as a import of a ASCII show file. Look in the manual (tab 100) under importing show files.
Uh - no, sorry that's not a good way of doing it.
Try this:
File>Open>Select File with Fixtures
Click Deselect All
Click Fixtures
Delete the fixtures you don't want to import
Save your file
Open the file you want to merge the fixtures into
File>Merge>Select your new file
Click Fixtures
There currently isn't an easy way of merging in only some profiles. You could also make use of the "Delete Unused" option in the profile editor which will remove unused profiles.
Actually it's even more tricky. Cause the file I'm grabbing my fixtures from is kinda reference show with all my favourites custom fixtures, therefore I cannnot delete them .I need first to save as this show after deletion and then import this show.
For sure the most convenient way would be to have a number in front of each fixture in order to select them during merge operation wiith 1 THRU n like for any other target .
for me the easiest solution for this has always been to have all fixture types in my reference show patched to at least one channel. and when merging i merge advance>patch and choose this one single channel.
That's what I finally decided to do indeed. But numbering fixtures in the list could be an easy solution .
