Adding cues together

On our current console you can add cues together (either one at a time or over a range) and the console takes the highest level.  The command line looks like this - "CUE1 thru 100 at full enter".  It takes every channel that is in use in all of those cues and puts them at their highest level**.

I use this function EVERY production!!  Does the ESO do something along these lines?  I have skimmed the manual but can’t seam to find anything?  Please help I don’t want to spend my life in spreadsheet trying to seeing what is in use or not!

** Because the command line had “full” in it you get the highest level.  If you had put in a percentage the levels would be proportional to highest level.

  • I'm not sure how I would attack combining a whole range of cues but here's a method of combining two cues; A & B in HTP

Cue A is live on stage,
In Blind Sub X (a simple HTP sub) - Recall from Cue B
Live Sub X at full (the sub may or may not be loaded on a fader)
(This piles-on the levels from cue B on top of cue A in a HTP basis)
Live Group Sub X Make-Manual. Sub X at Zero
You can then update cue A and the cue B levels will be included or perhaps you want to record the whole look as a new cue.
