Magic Sheets in EOS

You can record "Views" to store the positioning/zoom you would like to see.  I typically draw a rectangle the size/ratio of the monitor and then build my MS view - zoom to the rectangle object and store the "View".

I have stored views, not exactly sure how to recall them in with the mouse/menu structure.  I think I recalled views with a macro once.

There are a few ways: [Magic Sheet 1/1 Enter] will recall Magic Sheet 1 View 1 - this can be a MS Object or Macro like you mentioned..  You can also use the arrows after clicking the gear or right clicking the MS Tab:

Thanks for the tips.  I'm not going to find a Magic Sheet button on the console, right?  So that leads into the next question, how can I type "magic sheet" on the command line?  I do remember seeing that command in the list of commands in the macro editor, but when I'm in 'LIVE', I'm not getting how to type in the command.  OK, I made 3 views of a MS and I'm scrolling through them with the arrows.  I was going to say how do you know what view you are on, but its' right there on the command line!.  It's not showing up on the Tab info, so I see where this can get confusing FAST  So using the mouse I can open a MS  with Tab 3, scroll horizontally to MS 200, then right click to change to view 2.   Is there a faster way from the command line to open  [Magic Sheet 200/2 Enter]????

Hitting [Displays] (keyboard F9) will paint {Magic Sheet} to Softkey 6.

Alt-M is MagicSheets.

or a magic sheet object for MagicSheet 200/2 that you can click

It is in the hotkeys pdf that the nomad installer puts in your windows start menu, and also available from the console's product page on the website.

And depending on the console you can remap the blank button above [High] to be [Magic Sheet] as well.

I typically put in the MagicSheet button objects to take me to the various views that I need.  Labeling the buttons as a key to let you know which view is current is also a helpful trick.

I've got the Nomad with the programming console.  Where would one find a key mapper for that?

in the shell > settings > buttons

by default it's mapped to macro 821, so without remapping you can use it as soon as your macro 821 says Magic Sheet.

So many choices!!!  I tried 'hard key' and now I get magic sheet on the command line when I push the blank button.  But I definitely get the idea of the power of firing off macro,  It's assignable to any macro you want.  I'm a bit jealous of all the big console owners now, they have more than just 1 programmable button....
