Coming from Film and TV here but why would you not want the effect in the preset? I mean its a look that you want to recall from for future use. I personally feel if its the look you want it should be as you saved it effects in all.
Most of us live off submasters in the film world and only way to keep records of what we live mixed is presets or start a new sub. Which is alot of loading and unloading. Most of what we do is very basic. But on space shows where the ship is alive you mix faders all 14hrs and then may have to come back to that live mix for a reshoot.
Just curious and hope to a get movie mode soon. Or build a film based console....
