How to create a [Shift-Displays] macro?

Question

I'm trying to create a macro that will put a magic sheet into limited mode. When I try learning the macro with these buttons, nothing comes up in the macro editor. Is there any way to program this keystroke?

You could record the magic sheet that's in limited expand mode into a snapshot and have a macro fire that snapshot. But I would like there to be a feature to be able to do [shift] + [displays] in the macro editor.

The macro needs to know which tab to put into LEM. The macro syntax is (3 as an example for Magic Sheet tab 3): 
 LIMITED_EXPAND_MODE_ENTER 3 ♢ 
 Does that work? I can see it work here, but we'd need to know if the difference was the tab number or if there is something else breaking it.
