Hello! What Eos version are you running? Are the ranges in fact overlapping when this occurs or does it occur without overlapping ranges?
Hello. We are running OS version 4.0.0.9.03.
Version 3.0.0 build 389
Fixture Libary version 3.0.0.107
Yes the ranges in fact are overlapping. This happens wenn you make a new ranges.
But wenn you change the valleu and they don't overllap he closes the menu but without showing "Ranges may not overlap".
I am currently not able to replicate this behavior unless I am closing the range editor intentionally.
Could you please save your show, deep clear, and try again? support.etcconnect.com/.../How_to_Deep_Clear_an_Eos_Family_Console
Hi Saranow,
The deep clear has not a good affect on the bug.
Hi tommie. I saw an earlier post that said the issue was gone- so did it go away and come back? Is it happening intermittently?
That's Treu. In the morning I thaught the issue was gone. but wenn I tried itlater that afternoon that issue come back. And a deep clear has not a effect anny more.
Would you be able to take a video or screenshots so we can see this happening? We are working to find the cause and reproducer.
I have also experienced this issue, running 3.0.1 Build 31 on Mac Nomad. (Having just seen someone else post similar on the Facebook group).
Thank you all for your help on this. Based on a customer video provided on a related post we were able to get this written up as a bug so that we can fix it in a future version.
Thank you!
Hello everyone! Has this problem been solved? I just ran into it, and I have to make a lot of files, and it will take a very long time.
... I am attaching a video
This issue has not been resolved. It is logged as [EOS-52060] Fixture Editor Unexpectedly Gives Ranges May Not Overlap Error
I find out if you don't have too many parameters, it works good.
For my example, when editing a new fixture, if I add parameters to 15up, the issue happens. If the amount of parameters is less than 15, it works good.
So I suggest editing the parameter with most ranges first, ex. gobos, color select....Then edit intens, red, green, blue....
Maybe it can help us to pass thru the hard days
This should be mostly fixed, or at least noticeably improved. If you're still running into this please let us know.
