Loop, Link and Follow

I simplified this to only four cues. By putting a follow on 2 thru 4 it will automatically walk through the cues. But I want to repeat this 3 times so I put a 4 through 2 loop 2 to go back to 2, run through 3 and 4 and then loop back again x 3. But once we get to 4 it stops. I.E. we don't loop back. Here's the weird thing I got this going once byt could not reproduce what I had done. 

For Cue 9 in your original example, if you want it to progress on to 10:  Cue 9 {Execute}{Go After Loop} Enter

Seth, this is driving me bats. I wrote another set of cues with Follow etc. which works. But then, when I add the "cue 7 link 2 loop 3" stuff the wretched thing will not repeat. So I haven't been able to test you new advice yet. Anything obvious here:

Cue 6 must have a follow or hang time.

In order for Loop to work all cues in the sequence must be set to have Follow or Hang times to "autofollow".

Oh, right. Got it now. Its working but I had better make some good notes. I don't get to use the board enough to remember these things hence make bench notes when I hit something new. Thanks Seth.

Seth, I used the Follow per norm but then noticed you said something about "Follow and Hang should be set to auto follow". Is there another layer I should be looking at her. Searched Autofollow but couldn't find anything. 

"Autofollow" is a generic industry term for having a cue automatically execute after another cue.  Eos uses Follow and Hang to accomplish this.

Ok Kinda interesting. Now in the 1st instance I set a Follow on cues 4 thru 9 and things didn't work but I used "Cue 9 Follow 1" again (like putting a double follow on 9 and then the loop worked.

In this example, we will Loop back 3x through Cues 4 Thru 9.  Each progression requires a manual press of Go.

In this example hitting Go for Cue 4 the first time will automatically loop through the Cues 4 Thru 9 until each cue has executed 4x.  However, we will stay in Cue 9 at the completion of the final loop.

In this example we will do the same as above, but will also go into Cue 10 automatically at the end of the looped sequence of cues.
