Using Network and DMX 1 & 2 as separate universes on Ion

I think I knew how to do this years ago before all the updates happened on the software for the Ion, but now I don't see how to do it.  Our Ion board has 6144 outputs.  Currently, it only has been running our Sensor3 dimmers off the network input.  Now, we are starting to introduce some DMX.  How do I set up the 2 DMX ports and the network to have 3 universes?  I have tried going under set up and into output, but I don't see how to configure the outputs.  It says Name (all being "console") ports (1-4), then addresses, RDM, doubled, and speed.  I can change the addresses, but I don't see how to configure what it what. Right now, DMX 1 is mirroring the network.

Just for clarification: (as sara also said)

in {Setup} under {Output} there are your DMX Ports listed.

since the newer generation of Consoles have 4 Ports, there are 4 Ports Listed. If you have an older Console, ignore the rows with port 3&4 and focus on 1&2.

If nerver thouched, the setting would be like this:

    To spell it out:

    -Port1 = Universe1

    -Port2 = Universe2

    -Port3 = Universe3

    -Port4 = Universe4

    Let's change something.

as shown here the Universes 3 to 6 have been assigned:

    Spelled out:

    -Port1 = Universe3

    -Port2 = Universe4

    -Port3 = Universe5

    -Port4 = Universe6

Notice the pointy Finger; the console needed to be restarted! Otherwise the changes are not working.

After the restart you can assing any channel you wish for to Universe 3 or 4 [At][3][/] or [At][4][/] in Patch.

I went a little over board with this, but i hope that now everything is as clear as it could be. Sorry.
