Colorband T3 28 Channel not fading right

Question

Trying to do intensity fades with colorband T3s in 28 channel mode. For some reason it is not smoothly fading out. It is stepping out. I am using an Ion. Is there a dimmer fade mode that I am missing?

I'm not seeing a fixture called Colorband T3 with a 28ch mode in the library. If you're still seeing this, please reply here, including the fixture type you're using. Thank you.
