Configure Nomad to output sACN to a Node.

Just got a new Nomad and Showtec Net-2/5 Node. This is a artnet/sACN node with two DMX outputs (equivelant to the gadget, which is curently out of stock...) connecting direct to my laptop via Cat5.

I need a few pointers in how to configure my Nomad system to talk to the Node. According to Node instructions I just need to set the IP, but I am not sure where to input this.

Also, while I am here, would be nice if I knew how to switch between outputting two universes, and outputting the same universe from both DMX ports.

Have you ever worked with a external node/gadget?

Because they work nearly all the same way.

Well given that the gadget is USB, and therefore plug and play, I would say this is distinctly different.

Thanks for the link, but as it just repeats what I wrote in my original post, it is not very helpful to me.

For others reading: The instructions ask me to set the IP of my computer/console in order to talk to my node. Where do I input this info? I am running windows 10 and nomad 3.0.

The ip should be set up in Windows.

if you need any help with this, try the internal help of your computer.
