PC Keyboard trigger a Macro

Morning All

I use a timed Macro via a Direct select to trigger a haze machine,
Occasionally our shows are run remotely using a PC keyboard to execute the cues.

Is there a way of loading my Macro or a direct select onto a single button on the same keyboard.
I appreciate (Macro x ent)  will work, but i would like it to be a single push of a button.

I have tried various options in cues etc, but as the haze look  is so dependant on other factors we end up with either to little or to much.
it has to be manual to achieve the desired effect.

On the Expression remote there were 3 or 4 dedicated Macro buttons, which I miss

Many Thanks

Philb.

  • unless your keyboard has dedicated, programmable macro buttons it's not likely going to work.  You can use programmable macros to trigger Eos via third party devices, but there isn't a single QWERTY hotkey to trigger a macro at this time.

You can use three keys combined to trigger a macro.  For example: CNTRL+ALT+1 will trigger Macro 801.  For some this is still faster than Macro Number Enter.
