Trackball sensitivity

We got a Logitech Trackman Marble for our Eos and I love it, but it is very sensitve and it is way too easy to overshoot when using it to position fixtures. You need an extrememly light touch to use it effectively.

Can we get a mouse/trackball sensitivity control for this situation similar to the encoder settings? It may be that other brands/models of trackball don't have the issue, but it would be very helpful to be able to set the sensitivity from the settings menu.

I have also noticed that when when using the trackball, if you do anything else, i.e. change a parameter etc. the board turns off the trackball so that you have to hit the trackball on/off button again. Can it not do this? Or at least have a choice to have it stay on all the time until the operator turns it off? I am sure some people like it the way it is, but it's very annoying to us. :)

  • Any news on the sensitivity front. (I have an Ion with v1.9 software).

    This would be greatly welcomed!

Just as another idea for the future, it would be great to add the iris encoder to the scroll wheel, that way if you were using the mouse to control a fixture like a follow spot (that had an iris function), you could move and iris the spot at the same time with one hand.
