Query Intensity Greater than 0

I know I'm probably doing something stupid, but I can't seem to figure out how to use query to find channels used or not used in the show.  I've tried...

Query {is in} cue 0.5 thru 52 enter

Query Intensity {is in} cue 0.5 thru 52 enter

Query {isn't in} cue 0.5 thru 52 enter

Query Intensity {isn't in} cue 0.5 thru 52 enter

Every time it selects channels (or doesn't select channels) that clearly have no intensity above 0 in the show. I've asserted all the channels into the cue list with cue 0.1, so no blue zeros in the cue range I want.  What I was hoping for was...

Query Intensity {is in} cue 0.5 thru 52 {greater than} 0 enter.

I'm just trying to make a quick check cue for lamps used in show and I'm sure there has to be a way without using an external database or trawling through spreadsheet in blind.

Any help much appreciated,

Kevin

  • I Kevin, it's been a long time since I been behind the desk with a large rep rig.

Does [Group Cue 0.5 Thru 52 Enter(?) Flexi Views Channels], help. This may pick up a few channels not used but these will be quick to check in blind spreadsheet.

Are blue 0's having an affect on Show channels flexi? They shouldn't, show channels should only be channels above 0% in cues and subs (inhibitive subs were include in 1.7 I'm not sure if this has changed in 1.8).

Is query picking up channels that have been wheeled to 0%, sometimes using the wheel doesn't take the channels fully to 0 but to 0.4% for example. But this would display the channels with a second blue 0 and your not seeing this right?

I'm training tomorrow so I'll have a play. The only thing I would try is putting Intensity before query.

Hopefully Group Cue will get you closer though.

    Nick

  • Wouldn't it be great if there were an option to "Query Unused"? Or some other other method of showing channels that never have a value higher than 0?
