Yes it can, but stuff that's based on features that were added later will be lost. That could be encoder mapping, more granular snapshots, custom direct selects. And maybe other things I'm forgetting right now.
Thank you for your very quick response.
The venue's Gio is actually running v3.1.3 Build 8
I have added a load of text to the Q Labels and Notes and also put text onto the Presets to the show file over the weekend and was concerned that my newer version of Nomad (on Mac) might cause problems when loading it back into the Gio.
We'll give it a go.
By the way, do you know if there is a quick shortcut to switch between showing Preset names and Preset numbers in the live display?
Many thanks,
John
To temporarily switch you can use Shift+Label. On your keyboard, depending on a setting in the software it's either Shift-L or Z+L.

Hi Ueli,
My Nomad file loaded perfectly and the cues ran without any problems during today's Stage and Orchestra rehearsal here in Vienna. Phew, I am relieved and delighted that all my labelling wasn't wasted.
Thanks for the tip regarding fast switching between Preset numbers and Preset text.
Unfortunately for me, both Shift-L and also Z+L invoke the Cue Label virtual keyboard.
I've tried lost of other keys+L but they all trigger the Label virtual keyboard.
Any thoughts of what else I could try?
Many thanks,
John
