Shutter>Pair only works with Hardware-encoder

Hello,

i try to focus some Shutter-Blades while using the function {Pair AC}, {Pair BD}, {Pair All}.

If i am not able to have a Hardware-Encoder -> a Desk, than i would use a couple of ways.

1. open a Movinglight Control
2. Use a Mouse and drag my shutter in the Encoder-Display
3. Enter hard values by selecting one Encoder

All of the 3 Listed above, will only work for one Shutter, even if i have selected one of the "Pair"-Modes.
Beeing on a Desk or on Nomad does not matter. it is still the same outcome.

Tested on:

Nomad v3.1.3b8
Gio v3.1.3b8

Is this on purpose?

  • These controls were added to Eos in v2.5.0, about six years ago, so it is hard to say if this was specifically on purpose.

There is an open SCR about adding the Shutter Controls to the ML Controls page.  At that point, I would guess that mouse controls would work with the Pairing.

[EOS-40388] Add the Graphical Shutter tools to ML controls

I will add your notes as specific requests to that.
