How can I run Cue or Preset Palettes for a submaster?

 

Hi Anne;

Thanks for your quick response to reply my question and I have another question about the content of submaster fader. Does any Cue and Preset Palettes can load into a submaster fader? If yes, can I run the cue in submaster like in any playback.

Because I could only playback the intensity palettes on a submaster , but others not after a cue or preset was loaded into submaster.

Moreover, is it correct no any preset palettes can load into playback fader.

  • Hi Kelvin, you can assign a cue, intensity palette or preset to a submaster.  The syntax is [Cue] [n] [Sub] [b] [Enter], [Intensity Palette] [a] [Sub] [n] [Enter] or [Preset] [m] [Sub]  [y] [Enter].  When this is done, the information in the submaster is no longer referenced to the source cue, palette or prese - it reverts to absolute data.  

    The submaster bump button can be assigned a fade in time, a dwell and a fade out time.   Because submasters are currently HTP intensity only, when a sub is faded out, values revert to the last LTP instruction.  

    As long as the submaster is on the command line, you can press the load key of an empty playback fader and convert that playback fader to that submaster.
