Opening EOS Nomad Showfile From Dropbox Shortcut on Mac

is there a way in MacOS to mount dropbox as a drive? I very rarely use MacOS but deep in the back of my head I think you can just mount it as a drive and EOS shoild just show it then.

Thanks, fohlwilting. I tried what you're suggesting by googling how to mount a drive on Mac. I've mounted it and restarted but I still don't see the option. Even if I did see the option, I don't think it would work quite how I want it to. I would still want to create shortcuts/aliases to get to the showfiles faster (and without copying onto the desktop). The mounted drive I would still have to navigate to the file (which is about a dozen clicks and requires me to remember my file hierarchy). Thanks for the thought, though!

Ethan - have you considered making the Dropbox location your default Showfile location in the Shell? I have done that successfully with OneDrive on a Mac so would think that Dropbox should also be possible.

I think a better solution would be a request for Mac Nomad to use a system file browser for opening/merging files - then you'd have quick access to all of your system favorites and such.

I linked to this post from the feature request Mike's mentioned. As this is now a feature request the product management team will take a look.

With the new macOS File Provider API, the Dropbox folder (for users which have been migrated to the new API) has now moved to ~/Library/CloudServices. Unfortunately, this directory is not accessible via the CIA Browser. Any chance the Browser can be updated on macOS Nomad versions to show File Provider services?
