Incorrect ML Controls for UKING mini moving head led 9ch

Question

I have the correct fixture profile for the UKing Mini Moving Head LED 9ch fixture in the ETCNomad desktop DMX software. However when using the Popup ML Controls window, none of the presented controls match the fixture profile. IE: The RED scroll wheel controls the internal color wheel in the fixture. Pan and Tilt do not work as intended. There seems to be more controls that are needed and none of them seem to give me the correct control of the fixture. Not sure what I may be doing incorrect. The UKING 25w mini mover has either 9 or 11 channels and we have the fixture set to 9. I know the fixture profile works because I do have limited control, but I need the exact controls to use this fixture properly.

You won't have to add the profile you sent me, the profile is already in the librarry of your console! (provided you have a recent software version). This fixture profile was added with software version 2.9.3. 
 In Patch, select the channel you want to use for the moving light, touch or click the Type field in the CIA. now at the bottom of your screen click Search. Type B242. This is what you should see: 
 
 Double-click the 11ch version. The only thing left to do is assigning a start address to this channel.

This very much sounds like the wrong fixture type, either because the model or mode are incorrect. Was there a DMX sheet in the box when you bought the fixture so you can compare it to the fixture profile you're currently trying to use?

No you won't: showfiles survive, so will settings. Just make sure the last version of your loaded showfile is saved to the harddisk (Shift-Update).
