And is there any other letter on the channel, like an "I" (for inhibitiv)
And is the red bright or a little bit darker? Maybe check out with the channel next to it and bring it to manual values.

About is your best friend when investigating stuff like that. The section Current Values will tell you what the source of a channel's parameters are.

What type of channels do you use? Conventional tungsten lights on a dimmer, LED lights, moving lights? The reason for your symptoms could be that in your cues e.g. a shutter is closed or the color parameters are either full when they should be zero (CMY) or are zero when the should be full (RGB).
