Merging a partial patch

I would like to see this range merging of patch as well. It would be very helpful!

Since I also need this feature occasionally to merge in the patch for my house lights (36 dimmers with 4 different curves) and standard washes for when they throw in a pre show talk at the last minute, I have used the following work around.

-Open the show with my source patch

-Delete all the channels I don't want to merge into my destination show

-Save as a new file name

-Open the destination show

-Import the patch from the file saved in step 3.

I need this to for the same reason,

Trying to merge our houselights into a visiting company show file seems like you can do it but seems to do nothing.

Just phoned etc and got told it was impossible :( without going the other way or merging the entire patch

Please put this in the new software would be a big help

We are beginning work on a rework to patch.  Merge patch will be included at that time.
