Merging a partial patch

Hello all,

I was curious if you were able to merge a partial partch into a show file. I would like to not have to touch channels 1-2048 and be able to merge my automated fixtures starting at channel 2049 from a different show file.

I'm not sure if this is possible as the Patch area in the Advanced section of Merge is greyed out as to not be able to select a range.

    Since I also need this feature occasionally to merge in the patch for my house lights (36 dimmers with 4 different curves) and standard washes for when they throw in a pre show talk at the last minute, I have used the following work around.

    -Open the show with my source patch

    -Delete all the channels I don't want to merge into my destination show

    -Save as a new file name

    -Open the destination show

    -Import the patch from the file saved in step 3.
