"Usage" now "Refresh Usage"....Why?

So with 1.7 I could go to the About display, select Usage, enter a channel, and then step using Next/Last to see the maximum intensity for each channel (looking for zero, in my case).  Now with 1.9 I have to hit "Refresh Usage" after hitting Next/Last!  How is this a good idea?  It seems to me that if the Usage tab is highlighted a "Refresh" is implied when you change channels.  Do you really want the user to now move their hand repeatedly from keypad to touch screen?

  • I am one of those people with large showfiles and am loving the increased speed of the consoles, however i do miss the screen refreshing for me.

Being part of a large rep, and thus refocussing the whole show twice a day, it was nice to see quickly if the channel was or wasn’t used. Of course, I could hit the Refresh Usage button after every channel but when 15 electricians are focussing at the same time there isn’t always the time to do that.

I was going to request a double push of the Usage button to ‘lock’ it on and the screen would refresh for me. If, however, i change tab (to Patch or Lamp Controls etc) or close the About screen or push the Usage button singularly, then that lock would automatically disable itself.

    Possible?
