hey, I'm trying to generate ARTNET timecode with my Eos, does anyone know if this is possible?
If this is not possible, is there a way to generate timecode over the network?
thanks in advance

There is currently no way for Eos to generate timecode (outbound). It will only respond to incoming timecode from either MTC (MIDI) or SMPTE. Depending on the console or hardware you have will determine what additional hardware (if any) would be necessary. More information on timecode on the informative training video from ETC https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5nGu1ON_IQ
But in general, someone else usually should be responsible for the master clock for an event. This is usually either video broadcast control room or the musician/music director/conductor. Lighting typically will slave behind the master clock which is triggered by someone else.
Can Eos receive timecode over Art-Net?
No, Eos doesn't receive timecode over ArtNet.
No, but you can use a piece of software like ShowCockpit whcih can take ArtNet timecode and translate it into MTC (MIDI Timecode) that you can then bring into Eos.
If you're running Nomad simply use a MIDI Loopback interface with it and you're good to go. If you have a physical console with a MIDI I/O, then simply have a PC with a MIDI Interface, and then you can output MIDI from the PC into the console.
If on Nomad this can run on the same computer, if this is for a Eos console then any utility computer can perform this duty.
