Hello, what else could pattern effect mean in my ect puck for fixtures?

    Geoff allready answerd your question wonderfuly.

    But i want to share some trick with you.
    I asume you do have a working fixture patched in your desk and only try to understand the wording from the manual vs the desk.

    As you can see in the Manual, there is a Ch number written.
    You now can have a look at the fixture in your desk and search, in the Fixture's List what is writen there.

    A small example here. I took a High End System - Halcyon Gold and i am currious what Ch 11 is named in my Desk. 

    As you can see, in the Fixture Profile-List, Ch11 is called "Gobo Select" and is assigned to "Image".
    You could now investigate a little further by double-click in the same Row on the "5 Mode" in the Column "Ranges" and see what different modes there are. But that is not something very important.

    That is a quick way to finde the naming in the EOS-Software.
