The PSD Flags - Question

I am getting myself confused (easily done). trying to get comfortable with the PSD Flags I set up a very simple show file.

Two MLs are lit in cue 1 stay for cue 2. ML 107 is turned off in cue 3 and the beam moved in cue 4. As expected, we get a "M" in the first flag column.  However, in cue 5 with the ML still lit we move the beam again. I was expecting the 6th (m/v) column to show me a "L" (move when lit) at cue 5. But the "L" is appearing for cue 1! (Again, with no change between 1 and 2). This seems odd to me. What am I missing?

  • OK. Getting there. The L in 1 (home to new P&T, 0 to full Int) and M in 3 which sets the P&T ready for 4 while Int at zero makes sense.

From 4 to 5 though the ML P&T change while Int is stays at full (Pink "FL" in 5). Isn't this then a "Move while light"? Deserving a "L" in the m/v column?

We have programmers who will move a ML head while lit and cause what I call a "Smear" as the beam moves across the stage. Doesn't look good! I would like to scan the PSD to see where these moves happen without running every cue.
