Partitions are not honored while using the FLASH softkey or the Shift Shortcut Keys. Is this expected behavior?

While utilizing a User with a limited Partition of channels, I can still FLASH channels outside of the partition.

Is this expected behavior?  The idea is to be prepping on one stage without affecting the other.

One of our Users accidentally recorded channels outside of their partition into a Group and then FLASH-ed the GROUP; this caused the channels on the working/active Stage to be flashed as well--even though the channels are outside of the User's Partition.

Grabbing the same group and using standard levels like "@ 40" honors the Partition and has no effect on the channels outside the Partition.

Thanks for you help,

Matthew

  • I'd say it is a BUG.  Perhaps I've explained it poorly.  Attached is a video showing that FLASH-ing the channel does not honor the Partition.  (Using [Shift] [Full] in this video, but using the {Flash} soft key also ignores the Partition.
