External Video Output display issues (Eos + 3 monitors)

Hello, thought I'd post as no one else seems to have this problem! Since updating to 1.9.1 video outputs 1 & 2 have swapped over. By this I mean everything works fine if our old monitor 2 is now in output 1 on the console and vice versa. We are running with 3 external monitors so becomes a problem. Reverting back to any of the Beta releases (which didn't have this issue) makes no difference now - they are still physically swapped.

We have seen this three times now (On delivery we had to physically swap the dvi cables inside the console and then on a previous release/re image had to swap them back again).

The only other issue is that although the displays function fine, any attempt to move their postion in the physical display setup screen resests all the resolution settings.

Not wanting to open up our Eos again then we will have to stick labels over the back of the console's DVI 1 & 2 outputs!

Has anyone else had an issue like this?

Cheers, Liam.

  • Occasionally Eos will come up with scrambled monitor mapping.  This is rare but it can happen.  The easiest solution is to power down the console and boot with no monitors connected.  Then go to the Monitor Arrangement section in the General section of the shell and connect the monitors one at a time while placing them within monitor arrangement and applying them one at a time.  This usually fixes this kind of oddity and is much better than opening the console.  You should never need to do that. If this continues to be a difficulty please contact us in Tech Support for additional troubleshooting.

    Hope this helps.
