Need help setting up a new WAP for iRFR

I've got a Netgear WPN802 v2  wireless access point.

I have it connected to a 3Comm ethernet switch.  It was finally working for a few days.  But I keep getting a Windows error on the Ion saying "IP Address Conflict with another device on the system" , but the iRFR would still work.

Today it will not connect.

I have the WAP set to get it's DHCP client turned on (so it gets it's info from the Ion)

the DHCP option is turned on, on the Ion.  192.168.0.1  is the IP I'm using on the iPod and set in the Ion.

I'm attaching the setup page from the Netgear WPN802v2

I need help setting this up properly.  I'd like to have it set to a static IP but don't know how to make it work.

  • When you say

"the DHCP option is turned on, on the Ion.  192.168.0.1  is the IP I'm using on the iPod and set in the Ion."

Are you saying that you have both the Ion and the iPod Touch / iPhone *both* set with that same IP address?  If so, that is your issue.

    When you say that

"DHCP is turned on, on the Ion",

do you mean that it is a DHCP client, or the DHCP address server for the network?
