Marking

We have a VL1k that is up in Cue 1 in postion 1, in cue 2 it goes out in a 3 count but the rest of the lights are going in a 10. The light is set to mark for cue 3 which auto-follows cue 2 in 10 counts and we see the light still moving.

It seems to me the fixture should mark once it is at 0 but it seems to be waiting until the entier cue is complete. Is this expected behavior? Am i crazy to think it should mark while the rest of the cue is runing?

I use Automarking. If my fadeout is time 6, the Mark action takes an additional 6 counts. So from the start of the fade I must wait 12 counts before I can run the next cue. To get around this, I change the Focus, Color and Beam time to 0. Therefore the Mark action is instant.
